鳥取県出身。2018年より福岡を拠点に活動。

長年油彩を制作してきたが、近年は墨汁の黒と朱の二色のみで描く線画を主な表現としている。古い時代の小説や少女、花や植物、動物などから着想を得て、物語性のある作品を制作。イラストレーターとしても国内外の出版社や企業から依頼を受け、幅広く活動している。

『Close Your Ears』他作品集多数刊行。2026年には初の絵本『ルーのピアノ』を出版。

Born in Tottori, Japan, and based in Fukuoka since 2018.

After many years of working in oil painting, her practice has evolved toward line drawings created using only black ink and vermilion. Drawing inspiration from classic literature, young girls, flowers, plants, and animals, she creates narrative works that invite quiet contemplation and leave space for the viewer's imagination.

Alongside her fine art practice, she works internationally as an illustrator, collaborating with publishers and clients in Japan and abroad.

She has published several art books, including Close Your Ears. In 2026, she published her first picture book, Lou's Piano.
